Cavan Senior Championship Quarter-Final;
Ramor met Lacken on Saturday evening last in Kingspan Breffni Park to contest a semi-final spot in the Cavan Senior Championship. At half time Ramor looked to be in serious arrears on a score-line of 1-1 to 0-7. However, a very much improved second half performance netted a total of 7 points, the first six of which were unanswered. Lacken rallied briefly scoring a trio, but this was not to be enough as a final point for Ramor earned them the game by the narrowest of margins. Final score; Ramor 1-8, Lacken 0-10. Well done Ramor.
Another Captains Day has come and gone, another day of drama, suspense, excitement, joy and disappointment!!! The 2nd day of Pat Murphy's captain prize took place on Sunday last and as usual it provided everything that makes Virginia golf Clubs Captains day special, great fun and craic in the clubhouse all day with the ladies serving up the usual treats for the battle weary troops, and the lads didn't disappoint on the course either with some very good scores and lots of drama right to the very end.

Senior Team News;
Ramor played Lavey in their third game of the Championship in Kingscourt on Friday night last. It was an entertaining game and was competitive even though Lavey were out of the Championship. Ramor dominated most of the game and went in at half time four points up. The second half saw a brief rally by Lavey and they narrowed the gap to two at one stage, but Ramor upped their game and went on to win comfortably on a score-line of 2-12 to 1-8. Well done to all.

Senior Team News;
Ramor played Cavan Gaels in their second game of the Championship series in Lavey on Sunday last, and they drew the game, and in truth, Ramor were dominant throughout and will be disappointed that they didn't get the win. They defended staunchly and moved the ball in clinical fashion, snuffing out any threat from the Gaels full forward line. Ramor started the brighter of the two, notching up two points in the first few minutes, before Cavan Gaels replied with a couple of Sean Johnston frees. Both sides were eager and battled hard, Ramor conceding a number of frees and the Gaels shooting a number of wides. Ramor were a point down at half time, having missed a couple of goal opportunities, on score-line of 0-6 to 0-7.
